Tip of the hat to Community and Fringe

In an era of contrived TV bullshit and reality TV bullshit, these two shows have the creative balls to continually reinvent themselves and push the boundaries of their respective genres.  It’s this type of television that prevents us from completely sinking into the morass of dumbed-down, soulless, contrived muck that currently calls itself entertainment.  Just like modern cinema needs independent film to thrive, modern television needs shows like Community and Fringe to keep the medium alive.  Please, please TV gods do not let these shows disappear from our television landscape.
