Yes!!! At least I won’t be the only one not downloading watching come September.  I have no illusions that the DA ratings won’t still be through the roof but any little bit helps.

I think we both tend to fall for the pairings where each person in the couple is equal and respectful of the other person.  Is that so wrong????  I think not.

Sorry for the Downton emotional vomit last night. Most of the time I’m okay but once in awhile it hits me. I just used to love this show so much. It was just fun to watch. And now it’s just angst. I really think if I had cared about just one of the new characters it would help.

Still Not Over Matthew’s Death

Ugh. I’m so pissed at myself for not being able to move past his death. But every post I see about DA, whether it’s from the first three seasons or scoop on season 4, I angrily scroll by as quickly as possible.  I used to love DA SO MUCH and shipped Mary/Matthew like there was no tomorrow.  And now it’s just ruined for me.  They were my OTP of OTPs and I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy about a fictional relationship as I was after I watched the S2 Christmas Special.  And now it’s all gone to shit.  And I mostly blame DS.  Sorry, but I do and I can’t help but see a picture of him and get quite angry.  There’s just no way I can watch DA without Matthew.  And it would be the same if MD would have been the one to leave.  They just ARE DA for me.  And I feel left out of fandom because most of my compatriots are planning on watching S4 but I just can’t follow them.  Plus, honestly, I couldn’t give two shits about any of the new characters they added in S3.  And I feel like DA has now become some neverending soap opera.  With a rotating cast of characters and I just don’t care.
